“Spirituality” is often regarded as something apart from life. In reality, it’s only the spiritually-awakened who can move in the dance of fluid aliveness, fearlessness, and full integrity that is a fully-lived human life.
A grounded and complete spiritual awareness encompasses the Earth and the Heavens equally. This mode-of-knowing brings our daily life and even our identity into alignment with Divine Purpose in a deeply-embodied way, which then expresses as “right action” in the world. The Divine is not apart from us, but is us as our own deep substance, and it’s not just the prophets who can carry it in the world.

We’re working on seminars in Missoula MT, Sun Valley ID, Austin TX, and Salt Lake City UT. Please check back here from time to time for updates.
I also give a weekly class in Seattle’s north Lake City area, and I am available by appointment for individual “sessions” of meditation instruction and/or emotional processing. I ask a trade or small donation for these. Email email@example.com for details.
Intro to The Turn
February 16th, 2019, Courtenay BC, Canada
with an evening program of the Sufi practice of Zikr, 7:30 pm – 9 pm
The Turn, the sacred dance of the Whirling Dervishes, is a moving meditation and an embodied prayer possessing a most ferocious power.
Learning the Turn is a process of spiritual alchemy. It engages all planes of our being and has deep and lasting effects on our whole life. The Turn is a discipline of body, mind, and Heart/Will… much of what we do in life lets the ego run free but imprisons the soul; the Turn harnesses the ego and frees the soul to know Itself more deeply, for Being to act authentically in life and truly spread its wings.
This seminar introduces some aspects of the Turn and is intended for anyone who feels called to a deeply embodied form of spiritual practice.
Tuition: $85 ($135 for couples)
$35 for students, those under 30 and those 65 and over.
Scholarships and payment arrangements available.
